Teddy Playtime Alpha published
Teddy Playtime is a collection of simple games serving as a platform for ragdoll physics development. i wanted to make a basic playground chase game and expanded the project to easily add other ideas i feel like testing. to date that adds mazes and balls.
it may be interesting to developers running a dependency free c++ game engine which fits in a zip smaller than 200kb. i've done a lot of audio development and this project includes a simple but effective voice synthesis model (only two utterances so far) and a similarly performant "moving space reverb" which should help the playground simulation be more lively.
the simplified physics in these games and the shallowly developed aesthetic shouldn't be engaging to anyone unless they're an aging developer whose brains are leaking out from working in the arizona sun whose thumbs haven't stopped twitching before bedtime. i'm sure everyone wants to learn how to code everything yourself instead of have inity sput it all together all purty for you. i liked playing "it" when i was little, but now the government keeps shooting me in the head with the microwave satellites so i want to lie down more and definitely less procedural music or cultural development and leave that to someone with a big microwave satellite in the sky.
but! this is about the alpha yes. please! do message me if you'd like to say how to improve this title, or how to do some method, or if you'd like to send a lot of money to west papua for me because i think they're doing a lot better job of being humans without indonesia around.
